Chicago police have issued a community alert for a 13-year-old Far South Side teen missing since Monday.Melvanique Leftridge was last seen at her home in the 10500 block of South Oglesby Avenue but is familiar with the city's West Side, police said in the alert.
She's described as an African-American girl, about 5-foot-7-inches, weighing 200 pounds with a medium complexion, brown eyes, black hair and a strong pungent body odor.
She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with a purple 'P' on the left side of the chest, purple and white piping trim and blue jeans.
