Colored folks acting up on Chicago's South Side - 3 shot in drive-by on far South Side
Three teens were hospitalized after being shot in a drive-by shooting in the West Chesterfield neighborhood on the south side, police said.
The shooting happened at about 3:25 p.m. on the 9200 block of Martin Luther King Drive, said Chicago police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien. They can't even behave on a street named after a great black hero.
The victims include: an 18-year-old man who was shot in the back and who was taken to John Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, an 18-year-old man who was shot in the buttocks and also taken to Stroger Hospital.
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the back and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
The conditions of the three victims was not available. No one was in custody as police investigate the shooting.
