Bring On The Cardinals

The Milwaukee Brewers will be playing the St. Louis Cardinals for the National League Title. The Brewers will have the home field advantage.
The Brewers will be looking for payback, for those that remember, for the 1982 World series when the Cardinals beat Brewers for the World Series crown. And for those who didn't know, the Brewers used to be in the American League but switched to the National League in 1998.
Right now, the TV people and MLB exec's must be pretty pissed right now. There are no more big TV market teams left in the playoffs. Dallas, Detroit, Milwaukee and St. Louis are the teams remaining- leaving the East Coast and the West Coast without any teams in the playoffs. Three of the teams are from the Midwest/Mideast, not exactly big TV markets.

It's been a hell of a year for Wisconsin sports teams- Badgers, Packers and Brewers. The only team that sucks are the Milwaukee Bucks, but with the NBA lockout, who cares about them.

Brewers beat the Cards in 6 games is my prediction.
