Dwight Cadelinia was arrested Thursday night after La Grange Police said they found him hiding in a recessed window well at the victim’s home, according to a police report.
In a statement issued Monday morning, police reported the man had been living with the family for three years. Police said he was an employee of Alternative Home Placement Services in Westmont. Company representatives were not immediately available for comment.
Police Chief Michael Holub said Cadelinia only has a permanent address in the Philippines and has no local address listed on file.
After interviewing the woman further, police said she told them a similar sexual assault took place two weeks prior.
Cadelinia was taken to the Cook County Circuit Court in Bridgeview. Judge Noreen Daley approved the two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault on Saturday morning and set his bond for $800,000, the statement said.
Cadelinia has a return court date of Oct. 11 in Bridgeview.
