
PHOTO: Video image of the get-away vehicle.... containing FOUR MALE ILLEGAL BEANERS!Police detectives are warning Southwest Side business owners about a robbery gang that held up a Brighton Park neighborhood restauraunt and robbed its employees early Friday.
Four young men or boys entered a taco restaurant in the 4100 block of South Archer Avenue at 6:10 a.m., according to police.
The four, who were armed with chrome-plated handguns, ordered the four employees at the restaurant on lie on the floor, and robbed them of cash and jewelry, then stole money from the cash register, according to a police report.
Another young man or boy stayed in a dark-colored Jeep Wrangler or similar SUV while the robbery was taking place, and all five fled in the vehicle according to an alert issued by Wentworth Area detectives this morning.
No one was injured in the robbery.
Police released a surveillance photo of the vehicle believed used in the robbery.
The robbers were described between the ages of 17 and 25 and wearing hooded sweatshirts. Police did not release descriptions of individual robbers.
