Chicago Police shoot at suspect but no one injured
Chicago police were involved in a shooting this morning on the West Side, but no one was hurt, police said.
Police fired shots at a suspect at the intersection of Cicero Avenue and Polk Street in the Lawndale neighborhood about 4:15 a.m. following a traffic stop, said Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer, citing preliminary information.
Police are still looking for the suspect, she said.
No information was immediately available on why police fired and what the suspect had allegedly done.
