Pawn Stars Review: September 5, 2011

Tonight, there are two new episodes of Pawn Stars.
In the first episode, the first guy came in with a German Military helmets, a Pickelhaube, from WWI. they had the points on them. One was an officer and the other was an enlisted man. Time for an expert, Paul. He said that there were some repairs done on the helmet but were in good shape. He thought there were worth about $2000 each. The guy wanted the $2000 and Rick offered $800 for both and then $1000. The next guy brought in a WWII Blood Chit- directions for pilots. If a pilot was shot down, the pilot would give this piece of paper to a possible rescuer and it promised it would pay them for the rescue. The next guy brought in his Matchbox collection, which included most of the Matchbox cars. He wanted to pawn the cars and wanted $20,000. Time for another expert, Johnny, owner of Toy Shack. He said the boxes were the most valuable. He thought the collection was worth about $25 to $28,000. The seller thought was worth about $75,000. Corey tried to talk the guy out of the loan and the guy took the loan.
The next guy brought in some old Japanese video games. There were 3 games, Dig Dug, Super Dodge ball and one other Kung Fu game. I loved the Dig Dug game but never played the others . The guy wanted $4500 and Corey offered $450 and then $500 for the three and then $600. The guy then wanted $1000 and $600 was the selling price.
The next lady came in with a necklace given to her by Elvis Presley. It had over a pound of gold in it. The lady wanted $400,000. Rick offered $20,000. She came down to $250,000 and but there was no deal.
In the second episode, the first guy brought in a spoon owned by General Robert E. Lee and a pipe from Ulysses Grant. The spoon and Lee's name on them and the pipe had a cariture of Grant. The guy wanted $8000 and Rick offered $3500 and then $4000 and a selling price of $4100.
The next lady brought in 4 volumes of Don Quixote books. The books were the 4th edition which was printed in 1731. Time for an expert and said the books were worth around $1800 and Rick offered $1000 and that was the deal.
The next guy brought in a 1960's metal detector. Alexander Graham Bell invented the detector. The guy wanted $150 and Rick offered $50 and then $60 and that was the deal.
Thenext guy brought in a practice bomb from the Vietnam War. The guy wanted @200 and Rick offered $75 and the selling price $85.
The next guy brought in a horshoe from triple crown winner, Secretariat. He had also had some hair from the horse's mane. Time for an expert. Jeramey came in and said the shoe came from Secretariat and may have been used in a race. He thought the shoe was worth around $2000. The guy wanted $4500 and Corey offered $1500 and there was no sale.
